Day 19

Felt average today, had all the usual food, another glass of coconut kefir and finally my fivelac arrived today so am taking the 1st one right before bed

Day 18

For breakfast I have had 2 small fillets of wild Alaskan pink salmon and a large cup of chicory coffee.

I'm feeling clear minded and awake. The dry skin on my hands seems to be clearing up slightly, I am going to have a very hot bath when I get home (I stayed at my mates house last night) to help remove these die off toxins I am experiencing.

At home, I had a glass of lemon in water, a veg stir fry and some merengue for dessert, also had 2 cups of organic peppermint tea.

Have very smelly flatulence!

Had veg stir fry for dinner, and also my first glass of coconut kefir!

Week 3 So Far

So this week I am feeling much better again.

Had plenty of die off however. Itchy red spots on my stomach, buttocks, legs and arms. Extremely dry skin on my hands, almost like I'm shedding my skin, also pains in the tips of my fingers, it feels like I've cut myself but there is no wound.

My fivelac should arrive today so am looking forward to starting it, as I had great results with Threelac a few months back.

I should be able to start my kefir in the next 48 hours also, I am going to try and ferment some coconut milk.

Yesterday I had very bad cravings and couldn't stop eating all day, the only thing I added to my diet was a bag of almonds which some of I made in cookies with ginger and the other half of the bag I stuffed after.

I also had 6 small fillets of wild Alaska pink salmon.

When I went to bed I noticed a lot of raised white spots on both of my knees, quite itchy, but this morning they are gone so I'm assuming this was toxins being released into my body (die off).

I feel like I'm going off track somehow, so I will go back to updating this daily. Going to try and go back to a more basic veggie diet this week as I introduce the probiotic products.

Week 2 summary

So I didn't update much last week, so here is a summary,

All my supplements remained the same as listed in a previous post.

To my diet, I added coconut bread/cookies/biscuits with nothing I'm not allowed to eat, was craving nice things so made some cinnamon/ finger cookies.

On the Thursday I woke up feeling AWFUL. Felt really sick and for 2-3 days had zero energy at work and couldn't wait to get to bed at night - had plenty of early nights.

Had more akin breakouts, bloating, gas, extremely dry skin on hands and nasal pain/bleeding, this is all more die off symptoms.

I got my kefir grains and have started fermenting them, have yet to try the product though, also ordered fivelac and waiting for it to arrive

Day 9

Some more die off the past 2 days, my stomach is making a lot of movement, I have a lot of gas and smelly farts! My room has also been a bit smelly when I wake up in the morning. Some new red pussy spots on my hands and wrist.

Still feeling energetic tho and clear mind!

Day 8: Stage 2

Just thought I'd mention that someone on the candida diet forum reported itchy skin on back, arms, legs and stomach as a die off symptom, this is something I have experienced over the past week.

Felt REALY good today, was really busy at work, I'd been up since 5am and I didn't not stop for 10 hours - I have not felt or looked this good for I don't even know how long!!! :)

For breakfast today I had "breakfast rolls" which was some veg wrapped up in coconut flour egg "tortilla", was nice! Didn't have my lemon tho as still out!

At work, I had a glass of lemon water, and the same thing again to eat, minus the coconut flour so it was just "egg tortillas". I had a cupola of cups of chamomile tea also.

Tonight I had the usual veg stir dry, and a few slices of coconut bread - I baked the PERFECT bread, it's texture and taste to me is very similar to regular gluten free bread :) I also had a lemon in water before this meal, and today I introduced a small amount of coconut milk (in the bread and in a cup of chicory coffee).

Supplements I am now taking:
Golden seal x2
Bayberry x1 twice a day
Zinc x1 twice a day
Vitamin C x1 twice a day
Oxygen x20 drops twice a day
Molybdenum up to x3 a day

Swedish Bitters x1 drop per day
Coconut Oil x1 tablespoon a day

Stage 1 Review

So after a week on the cleanse, I am ready to move to the next stage.

The week was very draining especially mid-week, but from Thursday onwards I have been feeling loads better.

I'm going to keep the food very similar and take it slow for at another week.

I have now added the supplements golden seal, zinc and oxygen elements so let's see how things go.
